1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. For absorbent substrates, apply a primer like YSHIELD® GK5 to enhance adhesion.
2. Mixing: Stir the paint thoroughly before use to achieve a uniform consistency.
3. Application: Use a paint roller or brush to apply an even coat. For optimal shielding, apply at least two coats, allowing each layer to dry completely before the next application.
4. Grounding: Since HSF54 is electrically conductive, it must be grounded to effectively shield against low-frequency electric fields. Consult a qualified electrician for proper grounding procedures.
5. Top Coating: Once the final coat is dry, the surface can be painted over with standard water-based emulsion paints to achieve the desired aesthetic finish.

For a 5x5 meter room (25 square meters) with four walls and one ceiling:

1. Calculate the Total Surface Area:

• Eachwall: 5 meters (width) x 2.5 meters (average wall height) = 12.5 square meters per wall.
• Fourwalls: 12.5 square meters x 4 = 50 square meters.
• Ceiling: 5 meters x 5 meters = 25 square meters.
• Total Area: 50 square meters (walls) + 25 square meters (ceiling) = 75 square meters.

2. Determine Paint Quantity:

• TheHSF54paint typically covers 4–8 square meters per liter, depending on the surface’s porosity. For full EMF protection, apply two coats.
• First Coat: 75 square meters ÷ 4 (coverage per liter) = 18.75 liters.
• SecondCoat: Another 18.75 liters.

3. Total Paint Needed:

• 37.5liters for two coats over 75 square meters.
• Since HSF54 paint is sold in 5-liter containers, you’ll need approximately 8 containers for a 5x5 meter room with all walls and ceiling covered in two coats.
