This is the Technogym Excite Recline, the recumbent bike from the commercial cardio line Technogym supplies to the world's best hotel gyms and private health clubs. This is the LED console version from around 2021, with a back-supported seat, a walk-through frame and 25 electronically controlled resistance levels.

It is the bike to choose when you want steady, comfortable cardio you will actually keep doing. The seat supports your lower back, the pedals sit out in front of you, and getting on takes one small step.

Put on a podcast or the football and let the minutes pass. It suits a long easy session in the evening just as well as a harder interval ride before lunch, and because the riding position is so settled, the whole household tends to use it, including the family members who would never touch an upright bike.
