How much does an ice bath rental cost in Dubai?
Gym Fit Out rents five ice bath and chiller setups in Dubai, across four price tiers. Prices start at 1,600 AED per month including VAT and go up to 4,000 AED per month including VAT. Every rental includes delivery, installation, servicing and collection, and every rental runs month to month after the first month.

Why do two of the ice baths cost the same?
Because the horizontal tub and the vertical barrel are the same tier in two different shapes. Both are insulated PVC, both run the same 1 horsepower chiller, and both rent for 1,600 AED per month. The horizontal tub is the one most people picture and lets you lie back and stretch out. The barrel is 95cm across, takes up far less floor, and puts your shoulders under the water. Same price, same performance, different shape.
Everything above that tier costs more because the equipment is genuinely different, not because the tub looks nicer on a price list.
What is the difference between the standard and the commercial ice bath?
Filtration. On the standard setup at 1,600 AED per month, water passes through a filter built into the chiller. On the commercial setup at 1,997 AED per month, filtration is a separate external unit with its own larger cartridge, working independently of the cooling system. More water moved, more contact time, a bigger filter surface, and filtration that keeps running regardless of what the chiller is doing.
That matters when several people are plunging, when the bath runs every day, or when it sits outdoors and picks up dust as well as skin, oils and sweat. If one person plunges a few mornings a week, the standard setup does the job and you should not pay the difference.
Why is 1,499 AED sometimes quoted instead of 1,600 AED?
Both figures are correct and they refer to the same product on different terms. The rolling monthly price is 1,600 AED including VAT. Pay for three months up front at 4,497 AED including VAT and the effective rate is 1,499 AED per month. Every tier works the same way: the commercial setup is 1,997 AED monthly or 5,497 AED for three months, which is 1,832 AED per month, and the VIP wooden tub is 2,600 AED monthly or 6,997 AED for three months, which is 2,332 AED per month.
What is included in an ice bath rental?
- Delivery, installation, filling and setup, free across Dubai
- Servicing throughout the rental: filter changes, water changes and cleaning
- Repair or replacement if the chiller develops a fault, with your rental paused while it is out of action
- Collection at the end, whenever you are done
- Delivery normally within 24 to 48 hours, excluding Sundays
There is no deposit on individual machines in normal circumstances, and no long contract. Minimum rental is one month, then it runs month to month.
Which ice bath should you rent?
If one or two people are plunging a few mornings a week, take a standard tub at 1,600 AED per month. Choose the horizontal one if you have the floor space and want to lie back, or the vertical barrel if space is tight or you want to be properly submerged.
If the bath will be used every day, or by a household, a team, a studio or a gym, take the commercial setup at 1,997 AED per month. You are paying for filtration that keeps up with hard use.
Move up to the VIP wooden tub at 2,600 AED per month when the plunge sits somewhere people will see it and it needs to look like furniture rather than equipment. Move up to the premium cedar system at 4,000 AED per month when you want the largest tub, a commercial chiller and four stage filtration with ozone.
Can you buy an ice bath instead of renting?
Yes. Our 490 litre ice bath and chiller is 13,997 AED including VAT to buy, with delivery and installation included. Renting first is the usual route, because most people want to find out whether cold exposure sticks before committing to a permanent setup. If it does stick, you can often buy the unit you are already renting.
