The Powertec Workbench LeverGym™ boasts of a unique leverage advantage, which creates the smoothest motion in any weight training machine, making it the closest thing to free weights. The Lever's arms come equipped with built-in safety stops that enable users to train to exhaustion without the need of a spotter. This makes it possible for users to achieve maximum muscle growth in the comfort of their homes.
Additionally, the detachable utility bench on the Levergym provides powerlifting access to exercises such as Squat, Calf, Dip, Shrug, and Deadlift using the arms and Low-row using the lower cable access.
The Workbench also has a fully adjustable bench design that provides added stability and allows users to adjust the seating area and backrest pads at different settings with ease, thanks to its unique Ball Bearing Driven Carriage. It has 9 horizontal positions and 9 vertical positions, including decline, flat, and 7 incline positions.
To expand its functionality, the bench includes the front tube adaptor that accepts all Powertec Workbench Attachments. The Workbench Levergym comes with a Lat Pulldown bar, Short Triceps Bar, Extension Chain, Single Handle, and Squat Bar that connects to the Leverarms.
It's important to note that the arms on the Levergym equate to 20 lbs lifted (10 lbs each arm). The weight reduction due to the leverage is 20% of the total load plus the weight of the arms. For example, with 200 lbs added to the Leverarms, the Leverarm weight distribution (160 lbs.) plus the weight of the arms (20lbs.) reduces the total perceived weight lifted to 180 lbs. The weight on the rear Leverarm equates to approximately half of what is added. For instance, if 50 lbs are added to the rear lever arm, a Tricep Pressdown (top cable pulley) would equate to 25 lbs, and the same for the lower cable pulley (bicep curl would feel like 25 lbs).
